Athletics Fiesta 2019 – Parent-Teacher 4x100m Relay Race 🏃‍♀🏃‍♂

 Date: 7 August 2019 (Wednesday)

Time: 08:00am – 12:00pm

 Venue: Queenstown Stadium

Dear parents,

QtPS will be organising the Athletics Fiesta this year on 7 August at Queenstown Stadium.

As in previous editions of the Fiesta, there’ll be a 4x100m Parent-Teacher Relay Race. We managed to get 2 teams of parents in 2017. If we can get 2-4 teams this year as well, that’ll be wonderful! You are warmly invited to participate in the event.

Please register your interest here:

Athletics Fiesta 2019 Interest Registration*✍

Note: Please register the latest by 12 July. Please note that a team must be made up of 2 males and 2 females. You will be informed by 15 July if a team, including you, is successfully formed.

Learning Social Studies

What is your child learning in Social Studies?

The Social Studies Primary Unit (Humanities Branch, CPDD2) recently produced a video to raise awareness about the value of Social Studies Primary as a subject.
The video features students who share candidly about why they think they are learning the subject. It aims to help parents and educators realise the importance of Social Studies in developing their children beyond grades and examinations.  As a subject, Social Studies equips our children with key 21st century knowledge, values and skills to take on the challenges of working and living harmoniously with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds in Singapore, our region and beyond.

Farewell to QtPSG Chairperson, Grace Choo and Vice-Chairperson, Jerlyn Tan

Two marvellous ladies who have dedicated their time and effort to lead Queenstown Primary School Parent Support Group (QtPSG) over the past 2 1/2 years. We are so blessed to have them lead QtPSG. Without their great effort and leadership skills, there wouldn’t be QtPSG you know today at QtPS. We are forever grateful for their dedication and support.
Thank you Grace and Jerlyn!

Diversity: Embrace it; Share it and Celebrate it!
